Feature — Task Manager

Add tasks, set priority,
never miss a deadline.

Loginboard™ task manager keeps your daily work organised. Add tasks in seconds, assign P1–P3 priority, set due dates, and get flagged the moment something is overdue.

How it works

Adding and managing daily tasks in Loginboard™

Most task apps make you do too much work before you can do your actual work — picking folders, labels, colours, projects. Loginboard™ skips all of that. You open the dashboard, type a task, hit Enter, and it's saved. Everything else — priority, due date, board — is optional and available when you need it.

Adding a task

The quick capture bar sits at the top of your dashboard. Select the Task tab, type what you need to do, and press Enter. The task is added instantly to your workspace. You can also add tasks from the My Day sidebar panel for things you want to tackle today specifically.

If the task belongs to a specific project, you can assign it to a board from the same input. Otherwise it sits in your general task list — accessible from the Tasks view in the sidebar.

Setting priority

Every task can be assigned one of three priority levels. Open a task to set it:

  • P1 — Urgent: Flagged in red. Use this for things that must happen today or have hard consequences if delayed.
  • P2 — Normal: The default. Standard work that needs to get done but isn't on fire.
  • P3 — Low: Background tasks. Nice to do but not critical right now.

Priority lets you scan your list quickly without having to re-read everything to figure out what matters. P1 tasks always surface visually so urgent work doesn't get buried under routine items.

Setting due dates

Each task has an optional due date field. Pick a date when you open the task detail. Once set, the date appears on the task row in your list. Tasks due today show in amber. Tasks that have passed their due date show in red — overdue, and clearly flagged.

You don't have to set a due date for every task. Many tasks don't need one. But for anything with a real deadline — a client deliverable, a meeting prep item, a renewal — setting the date means Loginboard™ tracks it for you.

Overdue and upcoming tasks

Your dashboard overview shows an overdue count in the sidebar. If any tasks have passed their due date without being marked done, that number updates immediately. Click it to go straight to the Tasks view, filtered to show what needs attention.

Inside the task list, overdue items surface to the top automatically. You're not hunting for what's late — it's already in front of you.

Delay notifications

When a task passes its due date, Loginboard™ flags it immediately in your dashboard. The overdue indicator in the sidebar acts as a persistent reminder so nothing slips quietly through. You see the warning every time you open your workspace — which means delayed tasks stay visible until they're resolved, not lost in a notification feed you might not check.

6
Review your board
Your Task view shows all open tasks. Overdue ones surface to the top. The sidebar count keeps you honest.
Priority levels

Three levels. Clear visual signals.

Priority isn't about complexity — it's about making your list scannable in 5 seconds. Loginboard™ keeps it simple: three levels, clear colour coding, and urgent tasks that can't be ignored.

P1 — Urgent
Must do today
Hard deadlines, client-facing work, anything that breaks something if it slips. P1 tasks are highlighted in red so they always stand out.
P2 — Normal
Standard work
The default priority for most tasks. Important and needs doing, but the world won't end if it moves to tomorrow.
P3 — Low
Nice to do
Background tasks that are on the radar but not blocking anything. They stay in your list without demanding attention.
