Create a workspace for each project, client, or team. Log entries, tasks, and reports stay cleanly separated. Switch between them in one click — nothing bleeds across.

Workspaces are the top-level container in Loginboard. Every other feature — logs, tasks, reports — operates within the active workspace.
Give each workspace a name and a color dot. They appear as tabs in the top bar so you always know which context you're working in. Reorder them to match your priorities.
The log feed shows only entries from the active workspace. Client A's work never appears alongside Client B's. Reports, exports, and searches all respect workspace boundaries.
Every action taken inside a workspace — log entries created, tasks completed, time tracked — is recorded in an activity timeline. Useful for audits and client reporting.
Start and stop the built-in timer while inside a workspace. Time entries are automatically associated with it. Run workspace-level reports to see total hours per project or client.
Export the log for a single workspace as CSV. Share exactly the activity relevant to that client or project — nothing more, nothing less.
Prioritize which workspaces appear first by dragging them into order. Active projects stay at the top; completed ones move to the back without being deleted.
From the dashboard, add a workspace with a name and color. This takes under ten seconds. There is no template to fill out — keep it as simple as a project name.
Switch to the workspace and start logging. Every entry, task, note, and time entry you create is automatically associated with the active workspace.
Generate an EOD summary, view the activity timeline, or export the log — all scoped to exactly this workspace. Share it with a manager or client as needed.
One workspace per client keeps billing, logs, and deliverable notes completely separate. EOD reports can be sent to the relevant client without revealing other clients' work.
Split active projects into their own workspaces so the daily log stays focused. Managers see which project is moving and which has blockers without sorting through a single long feed.
Maintain a workspace for your day job and a separate one for side projects or learning goals. The log tracks progress in both without mixing them up.
Start the timer inside a client workspace and every hour is attributed correctly. Export time entries per workspace at invoice time with no manual sorting.
At project close, the workspace log is a timestamped archive of everything done. Useful for post-mortems, dispute resolution, or handoff documentation.
The workspace activity timeline shows when you were most productive on a given project. Review it to improve estimates and pacing on the next similar engagement.
