The incoming team cannot open their shift board until they have read and clicked "Acknowledge" on the outgoing shift's log. The excuse of "I didn't know" is permanently removed.

Do all staff need an account?
Yes — every person who logs in or acknowledges a handover needs a free Loginboard account. This is what makes every entry named and accountable. Anonymous entries don't exist in Loginboard.
What if a worker forgets to acknowledge before starting their shift?
The board is designed to make acknowledgment the first visible action. Managers can see in the audit log whether the handover was acknowledged and at what time. If it wasn't, that is visible too — which creates its own accountability.
Can we have multiple boards — one for front desk, one for kitchen, one for housekeeping?
Yes. Each board is a separate operation with its own shift log, members, notes, and incident history. Most hospitality teams set up one board per department or per location.
Is the data private to our organisation?
Yes. Your board data is private to your team members only. Worker profile stats are visible only to the worker and to managers on shared boards — nothing is publicly indexed.
